Windows + Doors won't appear in elevations.

I have a problem that seems relatively simple, however it may not be.

My windows & doors show in plan & 3D, however they do not show in elevation. They were showing about a week ago, but have since decided to disappear.

Can you advise as to how I can fix this as it is starting to really annoy me!

Cheers

One possibility.
Check the pen set of the saved elevation view.
Is it the pen set you expect or did it maybe get changed?

Are the window openings showing (empty) in Elevations, or nothing at all? If empty openings, check Model View Options setting for the relevant elevation views. If nothing at all, try checking for duplicate walls.

I woluld have made a new elevation to see if the windows and doors are visible in the new elevation.

Hiya,

Did this ever get resolved? If so, please tell me how, as I'm having the same issue today.

I did look at elevation settings - nothing on there; also created a new elevation, and the problem was the same.

Check you Door/Window-related Model View Options.
Doors and Windows can be set there so that only the Opening is shown.
You may have activated a View that uses such stored settings and this has caused them to disappear.

I just had the same problem and it turned out even though it looked like I could see the wall in elevation, I couldn't really. The wall was mistakenly on an internal wall layer and my elevations are set not to show any internal walls.
