Look at your "Display Options" for doors & windows.

Not the doors, wall. and It might also be a problem with the cut line for the view. If in the wall your "Floor Plan Display" setting is different than "Symbolic cut" then look into:

Menu->Document->Floor Plan Cut Plane. If your windows are outside your range you will not see them

If you walls span through several floors and are "Straight" there is no real reason to not use "Symbolic cut".

No floor plan cut plane or symbolic cut in version 9. Must be display options.

I've had that happen with superseded version of Door and Window Builder doors not showing in plan, but apparently o.k. in 3D, just had to update them to the current version.

i am using Archicad 18 and i face a unique problem, sometimes, when i activate the view maps, the walls, doors, etc....disappear in the floor plan (in the project map). but see it all in the view (3D). I have checked the layer settings but with no result.

They are probably turned off in your Model View Options. Have you checked there?

I checked there. But that's not the problem.

I got the solution, It is because the settings under View map is different, i.e under View settings > 2D or 3D settings > Floor plan cut plane settings > Relative floor plan range here the Offset by value is changed it should be 0. But in my project it has some value, later I changed to 0 then now I can see the doors and windows in both in 2D and 3D.

Not sure if its a bug or intentional, but i'm using Archicad 24 and noticed this issue for a while. Check walls under (bottom and top select reference level). If the bottom does not equal 0 then the walls and windows and doors disappear in 2D but remain in 3D.
Write down the difference in level from 0. Go to 3d view. Select everything (Ctrl + A) and drag everything (Ctrl + D) on the Z axis entering the number you wrote down so that bottom is now 0.
All windows and doors and walls should reappear on the 2d view.
