"Classic" 81 Doors & Windows

Why is there a Windows 81 and a Windows Classic 81 Library (Doors 81 & Doors Classic 81) folder within the 81 Library? Why would I want Classic 81? And how does AC 8.1, only a few months old already have "Classic" objects?

It must be a marketing mistake. More people liked the way those doors and windows tasted before than they thought. So they had to bring out both flavors so at least one wouldn't taste like Pepsi.

Do you have a quick synopsis of the differences. in the two?

It appears that while the objects are identical, the new windows have expanded/revised parameter definitions.
The UI seems to be made uniform.
Or not.

Classic Arched Casement has shutters but these are missing from the Pepsi- flavored window.

As it would be I am a Rootbeer & Cream soda fan. So as always the "Classic" or "not Classic" decision is again a difficult oine. I sometimes hate chocies
