Hi all,
I am excited to propose the addition of a new permanent discussion section titled "CEO's Corner: Insight & Interaction." This space is designed to bridge the gap between our community of BIM software users and the software developer's executive leadership, particularly inviting the CEO to engage directly with our discussions.
Purpose and Benefits:
Outcome:
This section aims to enrich our forum by making it more interactive and influential, strengthening the partnership between users and the software's leadership team.
I hope this initiative garners your support and becomes a valued part of our community!

Sounds Nice
But bring me the main shareholders better. There are a couple of things i would like to tell them to their faces.

Great idea but i don't think the executive leadership are going to show up here. The new CEO is clearly Nemetschek's hatchet man and is only interested in "Growth" and $, not making ArchiCAD better (ironically he might see fantastic "Growth" if ArchiCAD was developed to be the best in class AEC software)
I thought Hew Roberts did a terrible job in his 5 year tenure, but this new guy looks like he is going to take it to a completely new level (not in a good way)

Quite sad for those long term users of Archicad, I'm lost of words here...

Mr. Nuge,
I see your point, let's hope someone is listening. I am not aware of any company growing by loosing customers, especially those of us who stood by the product, helped it develop and advocated for its widespread use for so long.
I am baffled at GS's stand on leaving us perpetual license holders behind. I do not understand why can't existing customers agreements be honored and grandfathered in as the company moves in a new direction.
Thank you for your comments.

Dear Ryejuan,
I believe we need to keep asking for what we consider fair and reasonable.
Thank you for your comment.

You know, we had this some years ago. It was called Key Client Convention and we met all the GS VIP in person and had all these important conversations. And as a key client we had the opportunity to meet all the archicad enthusiasts from other countries and did networking.
If you are really interested in real feedback, do it in person. That’s the only way to have a real conversation. Anything else is just broadcasting.

A new Graphisoft Talks episode was posted a few days ago, and it is a conversation with Daniel Csillag, CEO of Graphisoft:

I think many of us would have hoped so and it appears that it is not even being considered in the future direction of Graphisoft.
The new CEO is responsible to those above him and they think that they need a bigger cash flow through subscriptions to improve the product and their market share compared to Autodesk. While that is the case it doesn’t ensure that many disgruntled users may jump ship to other products that suit their needs in the mean time.
The older roadmap was much more to my liking and now it has changed quite a bit. I hope we are not all short changed with AC29 ? Because if we are, I might stop paying my SSA and stay with AC28. They need to provide a sufficient upgrade for each version to sustain a subscription model too otherwise customers will change products if they are not satisfied. That stands to reason.
If I go to a restaurant to eat good food and what they serve up is not sufficient, I will obviously not go back for repeat business. Once again that stands to reason.

I heard that the older projects designed by Fender Katsalidis using Archicad are still maintained, but all new projects have switched to using Revit.(Not 100% sure, but do have some source) This can be seen as a setback for GS and a reflection of poor policy decisions. We should consider how the cover architecture of Archicad 24, Merdeka118, amazed us. Now that Archicad has shifted to a subscription model, it no longer has some main competitive advantage. I want to ask dear CEO, how he would do to not let some famous archicad users turn to Revit.
