I am trying to automate my wall schedules, which i mostly there. I currently have it picking up my wall ID, thickness, view and building materials. The problem i am facing is that the building materials list is ordered correctly for my wall composites but for walls made using complex profile, there does not seem to be an order for the wall materials so it kind of makes it a little confusing.
any one have any ideas how to get around this? would prefer to keep it automated and not use custom text. note that the materials is read from the building materials used to create the complex profile.
thanks

This is a perennial problem with GS. In our office, we usually do them like this:
WALL NUMBER/ WALL DESCRIPTION/ A 2D view of the wall/ Wall component thickness and description.
The attached image shows how far I get but then hit a wall.
The amount of time this automation would save would be immense, yet as a 20 year user of AC, I have never got it to work.

Seems to be a problem with a simple solution that is just not being fixed haha surely they can can create a way so that you organize the order of materials for complex profiles.
