Filtering by element type in 2d view

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if it's possilbe to set a 2d view to filter the visible elements by element type.

Is it possible to show only some element types (say text and dimensions, but no labels) if these elements are on the same layer?

Thanks!

The simple answer is no.

You could make a layer for the type of information for which you are using only the label.

Thank you Erika.

I already have the labels on a different layer, I was just trying to simplify my AC file.
