Alienware laptop

Is anyone using an Alienware laptop with Archicad?

A colleague of mine uses one (I don't have the specs) and he is having a few issues.
One of which is the user interface (graphical interface) not working when opening the object properties.
For him it is greyed out but for me it works fine.
We are both using exactly the same object and version of Archicad (17).

I am not aware of any setting that makes the user interface un-usable (except in the Work Environment - but that turns it off completely - not just greys it out).

Or am I missing a really obvious setting somewhere?

Barry.

One of you is probably using the MEP addon. It adds functionality to the existing library parts.

No MEP add-on and these are my own custom library parts.
They work fine on about 90 other machines - just not this Alienware laptop.

Have you tried clearing ArchiCAD cache?

Both versions of ArchiCAD 17 are on the same update build?

Have you tried a .PLA file to see if that works?

Running out of ideas
