Is the tablet pen incorporated?
BTW can the tablet pen be used as a mouse or is it for writing only?
the WinXP Tablet stylus controls the cursor... it's an active digitizer
like :

except the WinXP Tablet Operating System is a superset of WinXP: it will have greater functionality for WinXP tablet stylus use.
for example right-click:

for Shift, CTRL, Alt: you can set the buttons on the tablet itself
and the WinXP Tablet OS provides an onscreen keyboard/handwriting recognition (not great for typing out long lines of text though)
