Please help!
A colleague and I work on ArchiCAD projects together remotely, while connected by video using Apple's iChat AV and iSight cameras (we are on Mac's). This worked beautifully with AC 9.
However, ArchiCAD 10 interferes with the use of video in iChat, and a video connection cannot be made once ArchiCAD 10 has been launched (even if the ArchiCAD application has been quitted). After rebooting the computer, iChat is okay, unless ArchiCAD is launched again.
Conversely, if iChat AV is running first and a video conference is in progress (the connection has already been made) when ArchiCAD 10 is launched, then ArchiCAD will crash upon launching, and the Graphisoft Bug Reporter will come up.
These problems occur on both of our computer setups, so we know that it is not due to a particular quirk in one machine. And in both cases it started happening only after installing and running ArchiCAD 10. We both use Macintosh G4 computers, but memory, graphics cards, etc. are different.
Has anyone heard of this problem before, or can anyone duplicate it to confirm that it is a bug in AC 10? Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this, or how to solve this problem?
Not being able to videoconference while working together in ArchiCAD has sent us back to the dark ages, and we anxiously await a resolution to this problem.
