Archicad 13 is not running anymore

Hello... I started having a major problem with archicad. The program suddenly won't run anymore... I had it working 4 months ago but after the summer holiday it just shows me the picture with that building while loading and that's all. It's not even showing an error message. I tried reinstalling , i tried installing older versions but it is still not opening. I have windows 7 and all the requirements mentioned at the system requirements...Can somebody help?
Thanks

This seems to be happening a lot lately judging from the number of posts on this subject.
Or am I just imagining this?

Check your virus vault to see if any Archicad program files have been quarantined.
Although usually if this happens you wil get a message on startup that file such&such is missing.

Someone else was having similar trouble here.

It seems installing the latest hotfix worked for them.
Are you running the latest hotfix?

Whoa! Before formatting your computer, try reinstalling ArchiCAD and then applying the latest hotfix instead.

ok.. now this is really getting frustrating. i installed archicad 14 student version with the hotfix but the problem is still !. I removed the stored preferences in app data but nothing.. i think the problem stands in some driver files or i don't know. I'm gonna have to learn another cad software now because i dont want to risk . What if the problem occured when i was few hours before handing the project ?! ... do you have one advice for me before i format my hard disk, please? im ready to try anything before.
thank you

If it was me I would try un-installing Java and Quicktime completely and then re-installing them from the Archicad DVD to ensure they are the right versions.
As you have the downloaded version and not the DVD I am not sure if these are included.
They should be (but maybe not as separate files as on the DVD) so you might have to re-load Archicad from scratch.
If not getting the latest versions off the interne should work.

It could well be Quicktime as posted in this thread.
