Cineware using memory and has never been used

Rick Thompson
Advocate

I typically have 5 or more instances of AC open.  I have never needed Cineware or tried to use it.  When I look at my Mac's memory usage each open instance is using a lot of memory for Cineware.  Is there away to turn it off?

Thanks

Have you tried killing it from the Activity Monitor window?

I thought about it, but it would just come back each time I open AC so didn't bother.

I’ve noticed this too and queried with support. Never really got an answer as to why.

I think it is because Cineware (Cinerender) is basically a separate program running inside Archicad.

If you look in the Add-on Manager, you will see it there, but it can't be turned off as it is actually part of the program.
