Is there a demo-version we can try?
May I suggest a friendly call to your local GS people, that you recently bought a lunch for, and so on ... ? 😉
Allow me to laugh. They are not the most competent and up to date source of information. The few years after I bought ArchiCAD, I never got a mail or letter from them.

After a while (when upgrading to 8.0) I noticed that they had my adress completely wrong (they moved me into another province). Now, since I work at the university, I am at least a contact-person, so I receive mailings. But the first source of information is this list (not even the Graphisoft website, although they are improving).

And the direct distributor for my region is probably still modifying his own working system from ArchiCAD 6.5 and complaining about the stability of 8.0.

As it happens, I find the amount of direct info from our local Autodesk distributor much more to the point and up to date!!

Be careful Stefan, they might be reading you although I would be astonished...

No, about AutoCAD of course. But by using both, I can compare how dealers work (or do not work) .

The Autodesk dealer still thinks ArchiCAD is for kids

Yeah, right ... it does not have the black background, phew ...

But, this is a serious issue; being proactive is the basic requirement for a dealer/distributor, IMHO.
