High Screen Resolution and Archicad "Bugs"

Hello,
I am writing this topic about a case that has been discusse but not concrete solutions so far presented. The matter concerns Monitor Resolution for Screens with high resolution.
I have already read the articles:

https://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=58183&p=273870&hilit=high+resolution#p27387...
https://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=57095
https://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=53129

and sadly fount not solution to the problem.

So, our office has bought new monitors: Samsung with a resolution 3840x2160. We use WIN10 and off course the suggested resolution has to use a 150% scaling, in order to display an appropriate size of elements on the screen.

Sadly Archicad is showing most of the icons blurred and additionally we are experiencing graphical problems which have a consequence on the printouts. Some elements are being graphically dislocated such as the opening line of the doors and circles of Axis. Additionally the text does not sit anymore in the bounding box. The worst problem is that these discrepancies are being also printed out incorrectly. We also have 27” Dell monitors with 2560x1440 resolution and they work perfect.

in the BIG screens Using a scale of 100% is not an option since everything is very small. In one thread it was mentioned to do full incremental zoom, but a zoom of 200% is also not a solution since everything is way too big!
I have also changed the setting in the Archicad.exe, to override the high DPI resolutions.
We also have one iMac with 27" and a resolution 4096x2304. AC21 ist crystal SHARP!!!!!!!!!

Now I am struggling to bring my 20x new monitors into function. I would appreciate any positive feedback…HELP!

Without reading all of the links you posted I may be repeating things, however, With ArchiCAD 22 there are improvements for use with 4K screens. My screen resolution is set to 3840x2160 and ArchiCAD looks and performs great.
Something I learned while using ArchiCAD 21 with this screen resolution was that there is a diagnostics tool in Windows 10 that can make a big difference. I was able to get 21 to look good on my screen, however, not everything will function correctly at that resolution. Now everything works fine in 22 using a 4K screen.

what do you mean by that? Archicad or other programs?
I heard about the implementation of high resolution monitors in AC22, but still did not have the opportunity to test it

both. For example my Adobe Acrobat 10 PRO is not very compatible with a 4K screen.
In ArchiCAD 21 the tool menu dialog boxes don't display correctly with a 4K screen. Text and Labels have some problems with Text alignment... you have to set the text alignment to the left if you want it to display in the center of a label. Things like that. I don't know that they have any intentions of making 21 4K compatible. ?

After talking to GS i don't believe they will add this option into the next update for AC21. There is actually one Preview Update for AC21 running now, and there is no mention about this problem.
But all hopes are in AC22

Anyway it is not just a problem of Archicad, but in general Windows is not very adaptive to these big screen resolutions...

I have not noticed that Windows is behind at all in this regard. Of course you do need compatible hardware and software for using a 4K screen.
