Hotfix 1086 alert

I posted this under the Hotfix announcement, so I apologize for double posting, but I realized after the fact, it might easily be missed, so I am making it a thread>>>>

I went to plot, and my plot preferences were gone? I had to re-setup everything.. which I haven't done in years.

Anyone else had this, which I assume is Hotfix related, but unless someone else had it happen, it must be the aliens again.

Hummmm.. same with Work Environment Schemes. I had recently redone them, and the new scheme has reverted back to the old one (new one gone). I had not rename it, but resaved the scheme. I could have erred in resaving the scheme... so....

Rick:

I also lost my plotter settings after installing the hotfix on both my desktop and laptop computers, this has not happened with the previous hotfixes. I noticed that the plotter settings changed to the first option on all the pop up lists ("Calcomp", "55436", "Metric A", etc.).

My Work Environment Schemes came in fine.

That's the way mine changed too, so thanks for confirming it, at least GS can know it is something askew.. and not just me. I think the WE was my error in incorrectly saving it after I changed it last time.

Unfortunately, the Plot Setup dialog needs to be re-set after applying the Hotfix. This is a side-effect caused by a necessary bugfix. To learn more about this, please read:
http://archicadwiki.com/plotter_preferences
The article also describes how to recover the settings, in case you don't remember the settings.

Further Hotfixes will not cause such problems. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have also added this to the Hotfix Release Notes. Rick, thanks for pointing this out.
