Last week Apple has released the first public beta of Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.

Based on last year's experience Graphisoft expect a huge number of users wanting to migrate to it right away, which they currently strongly advise against. As of now, their basic recommendation is:

Until further notice please don’t update to Mac OS X 10.11.

The article will be updated as further info is gathered.

FYI, if you *ARE* testing El Capitan rename Applications\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 19\Documentation to a different name like "Documentation_X"

This will prevent AC19 from becoming unresponsive while using. This was an issue with Yosemite beta versions as well, but it doesn't appear to be in the GS Help Center any longer.

Am I to assume that wit with the updates posted today that it okay to upgrade to El Capitan?

I wasn't smart enough to check here first... routinely updated to El Capitan.
AC 18
1) didn't recognize license
2) wouldn't open larger on-going project file?
3) didn't load libraries?
4) wouldn't recognize relinked libraries,
5) path failed if included bullet point •
all in the first couple hours.
This is a nightmare. I think (hope) I have an older version of the OS on another drive that I can boot from.
Flags in bulletin boards are one thing, but I think GraphiSoft should have sent out an alert to all clients!

Are you saying that you were unable to download this week's hotfix to 18 and apply it to your installation? That hotfix is supposed to resolve all El Capitan issues with 18.

Graphisoft US/North America sent an email to all clients when El Capitan was released. It must have gone to your spam folder?
