Moving BIMcloud Basic from one computer to another

Hi All,

We are an office of about 25 Archicad users, spread across several Australia cities, all currently using AC 23 and in a few cases AC 22 for old projects. Currently we are running BIMcloud Server on an old computer that just isn't up to the task of our growing office so we want to move our BIMcloud Server Basic to a new, much more powerful 'server' computer. If anyone has advice on a straight forward way of moving Bimcloud Server Basic from one computer to another I would be very grateful to hear from you!

Thanks in advance,

Hello @BenATA,

About this I use Carbon Copy Cloner on mac OS to copy a hard drive from one to another :

You are able to do what you need with the trial version.

Thanks @Christophe Fortineau ,

A new computer would still have a new address, so would I not have to set up a new BIMcloud Sever anyway as part of the process?
Thanks,

Thanks in advance,

It seems to me that 25 users spread over multiple cities is at the edge or beyond of what BIMCloud Basic is supposed to do.  I would recommend a BIMCloud subscription - even the BIMCloud as Service which eliminates all IT management from your firm:

Here is the BIMCloud Basic specifications... where 25 users is considered the maximum.

So, as long as you need a new server, I would consider all of the additional features of the full BIMCloud and get your firm ready for any future growth 🙂
