Moving files and libraries

I hope there is an easy way to do this. I installed a new hdd and did a clean XP PRO install. What is the easiest way to move my .pln file over from the old hdd to the new hdd and still retain the libraries etc? One way is that I save all my .pln files as .pla and moved them to the new drive, then opened the .pla and saved them as a .pln. Is this the correct way or is there a better and more complete way of saving and moving them with the libraries. I'm using V9.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
You can create a partition on your new HD that has the same drive letter and folder structure as your old one.

This is an option if you don't want to save out a whole heap of PLA's. Otherwise the PLA method is your best bet.

HTH.
Cheers.

I just bought a new notebook, and this is exactly what I did. It works just fine.
