My Archicad12 do not show a "Tool tips" ?

Archicad12+Window Vista
Only tool tips shown for Standard Toolbar.
But for the Tool box and Status bar,there is no tool tips show (only tiny rectangular box show under cursor).
How to set?

window> palette > check status bar

In the Help menu click on the second line to show/hide tool tips

already did a menu>show/hide tootip but still no effect

some people here tell me that this is because Window Vista.
Any suggestion.

In fact the tooltips show a tiny rectangular box with no text(may be text too small to read/display within this little box).
Only happen for "Tool box" "Status bar" only, the others OK.

Have you tried applying a different Work Environment to see if that has the same problem?

Or turn the tool tips off and then back on again.

I don't have the problem but then I am not on Vista.

Try to set a work environment and tooltip 0n-off but no luck.
This problem only happen in Windows_Vista in Windows_XP is OK.
A friend of mind also receive a same problem and dont know what to do.
I am a new user and try to experience ArchiCAD and now start boring.

I'm having the exact same problem with the tiny tooltip thing with no words in it. Have you figured out the solution to this yet?

could be video card , I often have pop-up menus dissapear , have to drag it off the page to get it back.
