New workstation laggy when using Trace

Hello,

I recently built a new workstation PC.

The specifications are a 1950X Threadripper 16 Core CPU, 64GB ram, GTX 1060 6GB.

I have had no issues except for when using Trace.

As soon as I use trace or layout as a reference the program runs very slow and laggy and is basically not usable while showing a trace reference.

As soon as I turn it off it runs perfectly, if I turn it on doing any actions is extremely frustrating and painfully slow.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks

Several people reported that when the Trace Reference Palette is free-floating, it can cause slowdowns. Is your Trace Reference Palette displayed? Is it free-floating or is it in a docked position?

I'm not using the Trace & Reference palette at all. Neither floating or docked.

Usually when I use trace ill just right click and show as trace reference and that's all. I've never needed to use the palette really except for when I changed the colour of the trace initially.
