I've already sent a comment to ArchiCAD a couple of weeks ago (never got an answer), but I thought I'd bring this up to see if other people have had this problem as well.
Once in awhile my ArchiCAD screen would switch into gray mode. This especially would happen after copying and pasting objects from one story to another. If I were to then draw a new object, that object would sometimes show it's correct pen colors over the grayed drawing, but other times would be gray. Who knows, maybe it all depends on whether the sky outside is clear or overcast?
When I save the file, ArchiCAD gets get cheery again and bloom with proper pen colors. This happens on a regular basis with all of the files I've worked on, which were converted from version 9 at some point.
I'm running ArchiCAD 11 on mac intel laptop.
