Slow/lagging performance while drawing a wall/copy past

hello,
have problem drawing walls, computer lagging. re-installed Archicad 21, installed most recent update on my mac. very annoying
also same happens with copy past.
any help/advice will be appreciated. unfortunately cannot find specific solution for my problem.

The primary suspect is the Antivirus software. Follow to instructions about making exceptions in the Antivirus software, see if that helps.
