Unable to run multiple instances of Archicad 22

Hi!

Some of my users have problem running more than one instance of Archicad.
You can start one but if you try to start another it just displays the splash screen for a while and then nothing happens.
Computer is good, memory is good, most users at the office with the same setup never had this problem.
I can restart and it works fine for a couple of days but it returns.

Anyone else having this problem?

I see you are running Windows.
There was this post the other day - I wonder if it is the same problem.

The only solution appears to be to roll back the update.
I am Windows as well but have not noticed any problems.

Then there was also recently this post ...

I am wondering if we are truly experiencing a problem with certain set-ups and the latest Windows upgrade.

As I say I haven't had any problems and I think I have all the latest Windows updates.

I think your clue might be there.
Sounds to me like the memory is being used up over time and not being released back to the system.
Why - I don't know.

I always make a habit of shutting down at the end of the night.
Computers like a rest just like we do.

I don't think it's that kind of problem Barry. I was a bit misguided by the user, it worked fine after a reinstall, not a restart.

I reinstalled Archicad again and now it doesn't start at all. Doesn't mater if you switch user account.
There's another computer here with the same problem and history.
I'm running a driver software update now trying to eliminate things step by step.
