SOLVED!

Viewport goes Red when switching to a 3D view.

This issue has been happening for several months but it often happens so fast that I can't get a screenshot.

When switching views to a 3D view, the viewport will often flash red and then return to normal. There are no error messages, no data corruption, and all elements seem to be untouched. If anything, this issue is startling if only momentary. I've attached a screenshot of the issue. (Oddly, this is the 1st time an error message has been shown)

Also, this issue has only occurred in AC22, and has persisted through different builds. At least 3 other users in my office have reported it.

The hardware in every machine is nearly identical...they're newer 27" iMacs running either macOS High Sierra or Mojave. All of them are running AC22 5009 USA.

Any assistance or insight would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Hi All,

This is a known issue only on macOS 10.14 Mojave with ARCHICAD 22 when opening a 3D view/tab. Our developers are working on a fix to be released in a future update, likely in Fall of 2019 if all goes to plan. We know it is annoying and are doing our best to issue a fix soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
