Windows 8 and Archicad

I am about a week away from purchasing a new computer for my house. I have the hardware pretty much nailed down, but am unsure whether to go with Windows 7 or Windows 8. If anyone is using Windows 8 with AC16, let me know how you like it.

thanks,

Jeff

Hi,

ArchiCAD 16 is fully compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8 as well. Here you can find the detailed compatibility notes:
http://www.archicadwiki.com/Windows%207
http://www.archicadwiki.com/Windows8

Please consider that the next major release of ArchiCAD will support 64-bit systems only: http://www.archicadwiki.com/Discontinued32BitSupport

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks everyone.

I am getting a new computer primarily for being able to upgrade to AC17. I am still using a single core Windows XP at the house now, so I can't wait for the new computer.
