axonometry view in v20

Any idea why archiCAD would ONLY show my building info in perspective view while in 3d and NOT in axonometry? ALL layers are on, and renovation settings are set to show all. This has been an issue from the moment I started using v20 and have been working in perspective, but it is time for me to figure out why this is happening.

Thanks!

I think it chooses perspective by default but you can swap at any time.

Agreed, and yes of course you are correct. What I was unclear about was the fact that when I switch between perspective and axonometry for some reason NOTHING IS VISIBLE in axonometry. And this is the case with ALL LAYERS visible, and all renovation filters set to SHOW ALL. THANK YOU!!

Does right mouse click and 'Fit in Window' help?
It could be that the imaginary camera is just not looking in the right direction.

Unfortunately that has had no affect . . . .

Strange.
Changing to Axonometric shouldn't make elements disappear.
They may not be in view but fit to window will fix that.

If you 'select all' (CMD+A on mac?) does anything select?
Does it make any difference if you change from the OpenGL engine to the Internal (Vectorial) engine?
If you select a single wall or column and view just that in 3D do you have the same problem?
Does this happen in all files or just this one?

YES! VERY Strange!!

FIT in window changes nothing . . . .

Interestingly, "select all" DOES select items. This gave the upper left corner of the view a slight glow in the selection color, however when I tried dragging the view still nothing showed up.

OpenGL vs V does not make a difference

The same problems DOES exist if I just select one item

This is happening in all files that I have tried

I am starting to wonder if it is a video card problem.
Is it a GEforce card by any chance?
Uninstalling a program called Geforce Experience has fixed a few 3D issues.

If that little GEM is installed I am not aware of it. Any idea how to verify its existence on a macbook PRO?

No sorry never used a Mac.
In Windows we can go into Control Panel then Programs and Features.
There should be something similar on a Mac to show what programs are installed.
I am sure someone else will help if you can't find it.

It may be listed as "Nvidia GeForce Experience" if you have it.
