vaulted roofs

We all understand how wonderful it is to create a vaulted roof in ArchiCAD. But, I have an existing building where the end bays of the rectangular plan, are vaulted at 90º. (like a rounded gabled roof - or 1/2 of an eliptical dome)
Can this consrtucted in ArchiCAD simply? or must it be done with the mesh tool?

Thanks,

For my needs yes that system could do - actually the 90º turn is built a little softer...ie. as an elliptical dome form..but your concept is a wonderful alternate that I may use as this is not paramount for nothing other than as a reference. on the drawings. and would never show in any 3D sketches.... Many Thanks.

To clarify my method:

This is made from one segment of a dome built automatically from roof bits. The segment elements are stretched, cut down into a quadrant form, then mutiplied around.

It would be simple to add one more step - that of a corner truncation.
