Affected version(s): BIMcloud 21 4003, BIM Server 21 4003| Severity: workaround applicable| ID: #234927

Issue

Since the 4003 update of BIMcloud 21 / BIM Server 21 the login process is not restricted to case sensitivity.

In case the username was entered differently than the original, different kind of error messages will pop up depending on the chosen activity.

Original:

Alternate:

In all cases it is possible to log in with the alternate usernames, however it is not possible to carry on with basic activities such as Share or Join to Project.

Share Project:

While trying to share a project the BIMcloud / BIM Server Manager will present you that the chosen Server module is not accessible even if the Network Diagnostic says it is.

Join Project:

If you try to join a new project the following message will pop up:

Workaround

You can ignore these error messages, they don't affect on your teamwork environment and your projects. Log in again with your original username, or use your account connected email address which can be used case insensitively.

Users who are using their original username are not affected at all.
