I am getting back to participating in archicad -talk after years of absence due to poor health. It seems that graphisoft and their devotees have continued to grow and develop and its a major challenge for me to come upto date with the current program feature set.
I am also determined to come upto speed on Artlantis, and am having the following problems. Any kind help would be gratefully appreciated.
RE: wall paintings not showing in Artlantis
I have successfully created the picture objects in Archicad and they photorender ok, but they do not work in Artlantis Atl. file when opened , I just see a rectangle the size of the picture frame. Any suggestions?
As background, the archicad file is just a living room for example.
I have a G5 Mac. with 3.5 gbtes of ram
Software archicad v9 and Artlantis v4.5.
regards,
mike

Hi Mike,
Did you check to see if the painting texture exists in the Artlantis file, but is just mapped incorrectly? In shader mode, mouse-down on the picture surface to display that shader.
Is there a check in the texture checkbox? Click the button to see if the texture is loaded and looks correct. If so, then the mapping got confused on the way to Artlantis. Often, just ctrl-clicking a surface will reorient the texture. Otherwise, try dragging or changing the handle position.
