How to transfer color between rendering settings

Rick Thompson
Expert

Is there a way to easily transfer colors between the basic rendering settings and the Cinerender engine?  The only way I know I know is to open the color wheel, under basic,  write down the RGB numbers, open the color under Cinerender and enter them.  I am basically using things like a siding image in white, and multiplying to get the color I want.

I assume that's it, but thought I'd ask.  Wish the transfer setting dropper worked.

You can use the 'Match Settings' option, but that will match all of the basic settings, not just the colour.
