Yosemite National Park: The Crown Jewel
Located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of central California, Yosemite is a setting so spectacular and awe-inspiring that it is often referred to as the "Crown Jewel" of the National Park system. Earthquakes, glaciers and other forces of nature over millions of years left indelible footprints on the landscape that are still visible in the towering granite cliffs, thundering waterfalls, steep mountains and deep alpine lakes. They beckon visitors to explore, climb, photograph and experience their grandeur.

The Ahwahnee: A World Class Resort
As a National Historical Landmark and one of the most distinctive resort hotels in North America, The Ahwahnee is well known for its great granite facade, striking beamed ceilings, massive stone hearths, richly colored Native American artwork, and finely appointed rooms. The Ahwahnee offers a perfect balance of history, hospitality and elegance. It's no wonder that for generations this grand hotel has been the destination of queens and presidents alike.

Onward to Yosemite,

John
