Almost all large projects require a more sophisticated area schedule to analyse how space is being provided in the building.
This can be net-to-gross ratios, percentage of apartment types, percentage of car/cycle parking, overall density calculations etc. Currently this has to be manually exported to a spreadsheet program which breaks the link with the data.
All that would be required are standard + - divide, multiply and percentage calculation tools. This would enable 'live' updates of all this crucial data as the project progresses.
Incredibly useful for taking to client and cost meetings at short notice!
