Attributes in common

Anonymous
Not applicable
When a number of items are selected, the attributes shown are not necessarily common to all those items. For example, if you select a number of objects, the layer attribute shown may not be the layer which all the objects are on. And if, in a layout, you select a number of views, the 'Auto update' box may be checked - but this may not apply to all the views selected.

Other programs get over this problem by 'graying out' attributes that don't apply to all selections, but Archicad doesn't provide this means of checking for 'rogue' elements without selecting each one individually.

This would be so helpful.

Agreed. I think the old 2D programme I have forgotten about used to come up with "varies" which could be a good indicator that something wasn't quite what it should have been.
