[I may be missing something big about bimserver, and also understand nothing about servers etc.]
I am publishing mods, pmks, pdfs, dwgs, ifcs, xls from bimserver files. And bringing in mods, pmks, pdfs, dwgs, ifcs into bimserver files. Those files are stored in a file server, accessed by VPN when working long-distance. This works, but often results in some pain. Would there be a way of having some 'bimserver' folders for stuff coming in and going out, which would always be positively reachable by the very fact that one is reaching bimserver with the teamwork file itself? One would need to be able to publish from anywhere into those 'bimserver file-storage folders', or just drag files into them, just as with any file server folder.
