Composites, Surfaces, Favorites, etc.

It would be great; (i.e. convenient and support office standardization), if Composites, Surfaces, Favorites, and other attributes were external files that were linked to projects similar to the way libraries are handled.  This way any changes to the attribute are automatically introduced into each project with a simple refresh.  (It is a cumbersome exercise to use the Attribute Manager to export and import revisions into each project.)  While changes to attributes are incorporated into the template file, the updates are not automatically introduced into existing project files.  (Maybe the attributes can be externally referenced to the template file.)

most of my projects have unique attributes, and favorites are only used as a starting point. But if you did want to externalize and unify your attributes and favorites, you can export attributes from a template to an .aat file and from your favorites as an .prf file. They can be updated and overwritten from the template, then reincorporated into each file. It's a bit more manual than what you are describing, but it kind of needs to be for most workflows
