Creating custom materials is too time consuming. Specially during work, when you want to add new textures it's these steps you must take: adding texture in map(1) -> reload library(2) -> options(3) -> element attributes(4) -> materials(5) -> duplicate(6) -> search texture(7) -------> OK (end).
Idea is to make it like "drag and drop" option after which a menu pops up. From your desktop or any other map, dragging it into the 3d/2d window and the Material Settings screen showing up. Way faster and more BIM.
