Custom Railing Tool!!!! (again)

Another year, another Archicad release, Another request for a proper and effective custom Railing tools.

O graphisoft, i thank you for the S.E.O, PBC, wall link to story height, all those creative and wild possibilities ahead of us seem to be empty without this one mighty tool, please hear me prayer O Dear graphisoft.

I'm guessing that you want more than custom railings... but railings that can be customized and be smoothly continuous from stairs to landings, etc?

The ArchiStair 2.0 add-on from Cigraph has offered this for some years:

Cadimage Stairs also allows this I believe:

Manually... the Morph Tool makes creating custom railings easier than ever... although still piece by piece and a bit tedious. 😉

Hi Karl, absolutely, more like an improved stair maker or railing maker, like archistair, but built in to archicad, the ordinary wish.

And as we know by now, almost everything can be made with morphs and other combination, but doing it that way is missing the point of parametric components based workflow, and back to the tedious autocad or sketchup mode..

For the railing i kinda wish it more like the railing object the script master made a few years back.. I've downloaded the object but unable to make the custom post using custom component in AC 18, can you help me on that matter?

You mentioned said that using morph tool makes railing easier than ever. How do you do that? That is where I am trying to learn how to make custom railing. Is that required to use wireframe railing line to do that? I am looking for tutorial that explains how to create the railing but nothing that comes up that I am looking for.

Yes, I love morph but sometime it gives me limited for whatsoever reason.

Also, Seneca Design has been working on a railing object too -

Both seem 10x more flexible than the standard ones in ArchiCAD!
