Door relation to zones

I would like to enable a zone to extend across more rooms, therefore the doors should have an optional setting as not to be a zone boundary.

I  know I can set the walls relation to zones, but I need to set the doors realtions to zones because of the BoQ workflow.

If you tell the wall 'not to be a zone boundary' or to 'reduce zone area only', the doors in that wall will still belong to the zone.

Thanks. I know, but I need the walls to remain a boundary so they are considered in Walls Surface Area Schedule (for BoQ).

I don't do a lot of wall surface area scheduling.

Does the wall have to be a zone boundary for that schedule to work?

The wall should still belong to the zone.

Or is it specifically looking for walls (surfaces) attached to the zone boundary only?

Yes, Walls Surface Area is a Zone parameter that is only considering boundary walls.
