Of course what is unsaid is half the issue - the Materials palette needs a MAJOR overhaul - a much more responsive (no huge lags) dialogue that is well set out would be great. How about the ability to apply materials to surfaces in the 3d window? Now we are encouraged to work more and more in this window, it's the most logical place to apply materials - a bit like Artlantis I guess.....as an option of course!
