Fill Construction Method for Composite Structures.

Need to control fill orientation in composite structures.

It is time that we drop the fills for composites routines and go to more robust component-based composites where each skin becomes an edit capable component....i.e. the brick skin on a veneer wall system could be set at a different height than the stud wall backing it up. Also the bottom of brick veneer skins could be extended to the foundation (and below to form a brick ledge + SEO) the way it is in real construction. After all we are attempting to accurately model buildings in the real world...are we not?

For quantity take-offs using actual component thicknesses and volumes within the composites would provide for a more accurate and useful building information model.

I'm sure that it is within GraphiSoft's programmer's capabilities.

Now do we get what we need or get what THEY want to give. Most programmers offer the latter but I thought these guys were different....and innovative....
