It would be useful if tool elements such as slabs, roofs, walls, etc
had the option of hiding selected edges in plan and in 3D.
This could be a pet pallet option similar to the custom edge angle
option in the roof tool.
Take roofs as an example.
I have had to make several roof soffit library parts
to add eave and rake soffits to roofs and these parts
all have code that creates a mask to hide the roof edge.
If one had the option to hide some of the edges of a roof
many roof soffits could be made using Archicad tools
rather than having to resort to making library parts.
I could list several other examples related to other tools
but one, I think, is sufficient to illustrate the point.
This wish is related to another wish on the list concerning
the ability to profile the edge of slabs and roofs.
