Highlighting/color-coding layouts in Layout Book

Anonymous
Not applicable
To me it is a big challange to keep track of which layouts have been revised but not published yet. Normally the number of layouts is such that this issue is a likely cause of error. I wish there was a way of highlighting layouts, color-coding them or add some kind of code that could make this easier to work with. Maybe there is something that I didnt know of?

Do you mean which drawings have been "updated"?
If so... "Drawing manager" may help:
Window> Palettes> Drawing Manager (or icon in Navigator window)

"Status" lists the drawings as: OK, Modified, Needs checking, etc.

No, I am thinking of the Layout Book. It is a neglected area for tools of organisation in ArchiCad to my opinion. It should be easy to add some kind of simple tools here such as highlighting or color-coding. Anybody know about some simple tricks?

Right I understand that.
But, did you want to see which drawings (in your layout books) have been updated, without opening each layout?

I do agree with your wish. The ability to color code folders in the layout book would be a great addition. Like apple has in finder.

Bingo!! Now that we have a trans-atlantic consensus on this feature request I'm sure that Graphisoft will implement it in a jiffy 😉
