Profiler REALLY comes in handy designing custom 3D crown and base moldings, columns, and custom light fixtures just to name a few benefits. But the down side is having to save each extrusion as its own library part, naming each piece and keeping track of it. Not a big deal for a one off item.
But in the case of ceiling moldings, or wall moldings....this becomes bit time consuming both in organization of all the parts, and keeping track of them.
That said, I think a great improvement on the tool would be to be able to use the Wall tool to draw the PROFILE with and the PROFILE is just another wall.
BENEFITS: Less library parts to track.
This would also allow you to draw a outline of a foundation, sloped wall, special roof shape, etc......
IMO.....this would take a great tool and make it REALLY user friendly and much more efficient to use. What do you say GS, how about shooting for AC v.8.5 to have this feature 🙂
Anyone else using Profiler agree. BTW, if you have not ever used Profiler, your really missing a useful Add-on!
