Layer Combo And Elements tool Association

In the floor plan layer combo you save e.g dimensions to A-FLOOR-DIMS
but in Framing plan combo you save at A-FRAME-DIMS and so on.

It would be nice to set with EACH layer combination the equivelant tools acting layers.
So the line tool will have as acive layer A-FLOOR-LINEWORK at floor combo
but A-ROOF-LINEWORK at the roof view..

This would be nice but there would have to be an ability to override the layers. Having the tools go to the layers as a default would be beneficial but being able to change them would be necessary.

We have favorites set up to accomplish this, using the favorites to activate tools rather than the tool bar. The only difference being the extra step of changing favorites menus when you change layer combos (maybe this could be the link - automatically changing favorites?).
