We all know layers can get unruly, often with 100+ layers. And I love having clickable sorting of columns.
To make it easier to find layers and edit their state, I'd like to see:
- Search bar at top
- Type word to filter list (any part of a layer name, not just starts with)
- Filter on/off state, lock/unlock state etc. (and combination of all the above, ie not just sort by on/off, so can filter visible and unlock state)
- Filtering XREF by XREF, not just all XREF's at once (I know I can unload each XREF, but hiding the layers is different and simpler for navigating through layers, we all know how many layers DWG's tend to have)
- Potentially find/replace text in layers?
- Inverse Selection, ie find layers
- Clear search of course.
