Layers scroll bar

maybe this is a stupid wish, but I would like all Layer dialog boxes to behave like the main one accessed via the OPTIONS menu. My drawing is made up of over a hundered layers because of all the x-refs and linked drawings. When I change an element's resident layer in the element's dialog box, not being able to have a scroll bar and instead having to use only up or down arrows is a royal pain. Often I have to change an element from a layer near the top to a layer near the bottom, and I have had many times when the top or bottom arrow simply quits in the middle of the process, and I have to start all over again.

I know I am in the minority regarding the number of layers, but I can't be the only one who has experienced this problem.

And yes, I agree there needs to be a better way to manage hundreds of layers.
