During the work on the large project I often use marquee tool to select piece of plan that interest me at the moment, I often switch between plan and 3d window to see changes, but when I want to paste (ctrl+V) object the marquee selection disappear.
The wish is to have "lock" button for marquee so there will be no need to reapply it every time after pasting something on plan, the another thing is to have better control on adjusting it, for instance like the section/elevation tool. It will be nice to reshape the marquee frame by dragging the single elements.
