Nesting of trace references

I want to be able to nest trace references as in Microstation - i.e. see a trace reference which is in another trace reference.

I am not sure why you would want to do this or exactly what you mean.
But you could always "nest" the views of what you want for the trace onto a layout page and then set that layout as your trace reference.

Nesting in ArchiCAD is available with Hotlinked Modules.
Maybe that does what you are after.
