There should be a spatial hierarchy with spaces and subspaces. Plans are actually horizontal sections. Maps, Floor plans, Object top views are actually plans with different elevation of the cutting plane. There should be zone grouping and zone combinations, something like 3d layers.
example: city> sector > building block> building> story> appartment> room
Views, Plans sections elevations should be related to these zones or zone combinations. Even schedules and lists are actually always related to a Space (Zone).
That way it could be much easier to produce drawings of multiple buildings or buildings with different elevations of the floor plans. eg two or more semidetached homes on inclined ground.
Another example is for site plans we are asked to depict the site and adjustcent roads. So a plan with cutting plane above all spaces with a zone combination of the building block and the ones around it, is sufficient for a Site plan.
