Purge layers

I think it would be great to have a command that would purge unused (empty)layers. We have just switched from Autocad, and have been merging and xrefing previous drawings, then changing layers to Archicad layers.
We have accumulated probably 100 layers. I know most of them are empty, but I don't know which ones. It appears that if I delete a layer that I think is empty but is not, it deletes everything in that layer anyway.

Or maybe if it's not a purge command, maybe something in the layer dialogue box that will tell me if there is anything in the layer that I'd like to delete.

Thanks,

Tom

Tom:

Check out the Attribute Manager, Layers Tab, "Purge Unused" button.

One of the many items on my offices wish list to GS is to give the "Layer Settings" dialog the same (similar) functionality as in the "Layers/Layer Combination" tabs in the "Attribute Manager" dialog. This, of course, includes the ability to view and delete "empty" Layers.
