(Re)Render Marqueed Area

The ability to render a marqueed area within a render window.

Whether that be to do a check render of a portion of a scene at full res, or to re-render changes that have occurred, much like you can do in Max. Being able to do this can save a lot of time once render settings go up as you would be able to update a previously rendered scene.

You can do this now.
You have to place the 2D marquee in your 3D view first.
Then the render options change in the render settings dialogue.
Or you may have the options available in the toolbars - I can't remember if this is standard or I have customised the Work Environment.

Ah. Something from AC20. Skipped over that release and didn't read anything about it in 21... XD

Thanks,
Ling.

It's been there since 18 when Cinerender was introduced.

Guess I missed it then, or it didn't work how I hoped it would... Thinking back, it might be due to the fact that you can't use the marquee in the render window to check a spot, then let it finish rendering the rest of the scene.
